Find the suspected leakage. Define the next step.
Kroft scopes ultrasonic valve leak detection around the valve, process conditions and reported operating problem. Passing-valve assessments help clients investigate suspected leakage across closed valves and prioritise further testing or maintenance.
The wider integrity scope includes valve diagnostics, condition surveys, compressed-air and gas leak surveys, reporting and corrective-action recommendations. Detection and any leak quantification are separate requirements; the method and suitability are reviewed for the application.
Survey requirements
- Ultrasonic passing-valve assessment
- Through-valve leak detection
- Valve condition and functional checks
- Compressed-air and gas leak surveys
Findings and intervention
- Valve identification and survey records
- Condition findings and maintenance priorities
- Further testing or repair recommendations
- Post-maintenance verification support
Equipment, access, area classification and operating conditions determine the suitable method. Leak-rate quantification is confirmed separately when required.
Service questions
Can the enquiry include several suspected passing valves?
Yes. Send a valve list with tags, valve types, sizes, service fluids, operating conditions and the symptoms observed. Include the site location and access window so a survey scope can be reviewed.
Does detection automatically provide a leak rate?
No. Detection and quantification have different requirements. If a quantified leak rate is needed, state that in the enquiry so the method, equipment and suitability can be confirmed.
Can Kroft support corrective work after a survey?
The findings can feed into valve maintenance, repair or overhaul coordination and replacement supply. The corrective action and verification scope are agreed with the client.
